About the Trinity CSI Church

      Past, Present and Future

AboutUs

The Trinity CSI Church evolves from a rich tradition in preserving the CSI heritage in the US.

The ‘CSI Malayalam Congregation of New York’ established in 1978 was the first CSI church to be in New York area and the US. As the CSI Diaspora grew in the tri-state suburbs newer churches were established including ones in Queens, New Jersey, Staten Island, Hudson Valley and Connecticut. Founded in 1993, the Trinity CSI Church is proud to be celebrating its Fifteenth Anniversary this year.

The Trinity CSI congregation continues its long tradition of compassion, mission, fellowship, and strives to preserve the ecumenical fellowship created by the CSI Diaspora in North America, its home diocese in Madhya Kerala and the CSI mother church. Fellowship activities are held frequently and include cottage prayers and other events such as picnics, conventions, youth events and joint services with other church denominations. The church also supports charitable and outreach activities including support of its home mission and fundraising for local charities and disaster relief (Tsunami, Earthquake, etc.).

Prayer

The Trinity CSI Church embraces the optimism that created the CSI Church back in 1947 and plans grow with the evolving needs of the CSI Diaspora in the local area. The Trinity CSI church conducts its weekly services at 12.30 PM every Sunday; services are held in English and Malayalam. Sunday school is offered weekly. We invite all to join us as a member or guest.
